How Much Does Permanent Eyeliner Cost? A Simple Price Guide for Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Buckhead, Suwanee & Cumming, GA

If you've ever smudged your eyeliner by lunchtime, ended up with raccoon eyes after a swim, or run out of time in the morning, you've probably wondered about permanent eyeliner. And right after "does it hurt?", the next question I hear most is: "How much does it cost?"

I'm Hannah, and at Palette by Hannah I welcome clients from Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Buckhead, Suwanee, and Cumming who want soft, natural eyes without the daily routine. So let's talk honestly about price, in plain words, so you know exactly what to expect before you book.

What Is Permanent Eyeliner, in Simple Words?

Permanent eyeliner (also called semi-permanent eyeliner) places tiny dots of pigment along your lash line using a very fine needle. Think of it as a soft shadow right at the base of your lashes. It makes your lashes look fuller and your eyes look more defined, even when you wake up. It is not a thick, dark, drawn-on line unless you want a bolder look. Most of my clients choose something subtle that just looks like "great lashes."

Typical Pricing at Palette by Hannah

Here is a simple starting guide:

  • Upper eyeliner: starts at $400

  • Lower (under) eyeliner on its own: $300

  • Adding lower eyeliner when you also do the upper: +$150

Exact pricing depends on the style you choose and your eye shape, which we'll go over together in your consultation, so there are never any surprises.

Why Prices Look So Different From Studio to Studio

If you've searched around Alpharetta, Buckhead, or Cumming, you've probably seen prices that range a lot. Here's why:

  • The artist's training and experience. The eye area is delicate, so detail and steady hands matter a lot.

  • What's included. Some studios charge for the touch-up separately. Always ask whether your follow-up visit is part of the price.

  • The pigment. Quality, skin-safe pigment costs more, but it heals truer to color and fades more evenly.

  • Safety and cleanliness. Single-use needles and proper sanitation are not places to save money.

  • Your design. A tiny lash-line enhancement and a soft wing take different amounts of time and skill.

A very low price can be tempting, but your eyes are not the place to gamble. A great result is worth doing once, and doing right.

What Your Eyeliner Appointment Includes

You'll have a consultation first, where we talk about your eye shape, your daily makeup habits, and the look you want, whether that's barely-there or more defined. Then I map the shape before any pigment goes in, so you can approve it. After the procedure I'll walk you through simple aftercare, and your healing will be checked at your follow-up visit. If you're curious what healing looks like day by day, I wrote a full guide on that too.

Is Permanent Eyeliner Worth the Price?

Think about it this way. How many eyeliners, remover wipes, and replacement tubes do you buy in a year? How many minutes do you spend each morning on a steady line? Permanent eyeliner gives that time back, and it holds up through workouts, summer humidity, swimming, tears at weddings, and school drop-off mornings.

Many of my clients from Johns Creek, Suwanee, and Cumming tell me the biggest change isn't just how their eyes look, it's how much easier their mornings feel.

Who Is a Great Fit?

  • Busy moms and professionals who want to get ready faster

  • Anyone with sensitive eyes who can't wear traditional eyeliner

  • Swimmers, runners, and anyone who sweats a lot

  • People with light or sparse lashes who want a fuller look

  • Anyone who wears glasses and finds it hard to apply liner every day

How to Get Your Exact Price

Because every eye shape is different, the best way to know your exact price is a consultation. Tell me what you want, and I'll give you an honest answer, including whether permanent eyeliner is the right choice for you at all.
